Mission details
- In this mission the Forest, Caves and Mines are available through the warps located in Ruins 1. In each of these areas is a switch that can be pressed to obtain a key which is required to unlock the final seal located in the Ruins to gain access to a battle against Dark Falz.
- At the end of ruins 1, there is a switch and gate labeled as an emergency evacuation warp. If the switch is pressed, a choice will be given to either use the warp to evacuate the ruins (thus ending the mission) or continue deeper into the ruins. If the evacuation switch is accidentally pressed by mistake, all progress up to that point will be wasted, so be careful.
- Additional areas can be accessed through warps found in the first block of each area.
- If you continue deeper into the ruins, you must clear one more block of enemies which will then take you to a room with three pedestals and a boss warp blocked off by three laser fences. If all three keys are collected in the Forest, Caves and Mines (MUUT, DITTS, POUMN), pressing these switches will remove the fences, thus granting access to a battle against Dark Falz's first form. The mission will end and a set of clear boxes will appear if you did not collect all three keys. If you defeat all enemies in every block of each area including all enemies in each of the three additional warp areas, as well as collected all keys, the final boss will be against Dark Falz's second form.
- If the party opens the Ruins 1 door, all warps to the other areas will be closed off. If doing a full clear, make sure every route is completed before touching the door.
- The black flames scattered throughout the Forest area deal 25% damage to both enemies and players when touched, and can sometimes cause an infection status effect.
- The damaging fog scattered by the poisonous flowers in the Forest area has an additional freeze status effect.
- There are cage traps scattered throughout the Caves area that cannot be seen with goggles.
- The cage traps themselves do not cause damage, but the moving flames deal 30% of the player's maximum HP in damage and can occasionally cause a burn effect.
- There are also stalactite traps set up on the ceilings of the passages, one in Cave 2 and three in Cave 3, which are connected to invisible cage traps.
- Getting hit by a stalactite will cause players to take 50% of their maximum HP in damage however they can be prematurely detonated and destroyed with weapons or techs that can attack from a distance.
- There are mine traps set up all over the Mines area, dealing 20% of the players maximum HP in damage with a chance of inflicting burn, freeze, or paralysis.
- Mine traps can be destroyed in advance by shooting them from the first-person perspective.
Enemy information
Area/Box Drops
- Clear box rewards are determined by how many routes are cleared, secret areas cleared, and the boss (or lack thereof) defeated at the end.
- 2 "Ruins 1" boxes will be added for each route and secret route cleared, for a maximum of 12 boxes.
- Ruins 1 boxes will become available as soon as the door in the first room of Ruins 1 is opened.
- 6 "Ruins 2" boxes will be available for clearing ruins without defeating a boss.
- 8 "Dark Falz 1" boxes will be available for defeating Dark Falz 1.
- 2 additional boxes will be added for defeating Dark Falz 1 with 622 or more enemy kills, for 10 total boxes.
- 2 more addditional boxes will be added for defeating Dark Falz 1 with 721 or more enemy kills, for 12 total boxes.
- Ruins 2 drops will also be available in the Dark Falz 1 drop boxes.
- 18 "Dark Falz 2" boxes will be available for defeating Dark Falz 2, which is only achieved after defeating every enemy in the mission in all areas including secret areas.
- Dark Falz 1 and Ruins 2 drops will also be available in the Dark Falz 2 drop boxes.
