Shotguns

Shotguns are two-handed ranged weapons that are usable by Rangers, Guntechers, Fortegunners, Protransers, and Gunmasters. Shotguns are high-damaging, slow-shooting weapons that fire in a cone-like spread with up to 5 bullets enabling it to hit multiple targets or up close hit a single target with all 5 bullets. Each individual shot has a miniature splash attack on impact, allowing the shooter to potentially affect more targets or hitboxes than otherwise normally possible. The splash on elemental bullets can hit up to 10 targets while Barada Zagenga can hit up to 15. Shotguns can be mainly used as high single target damage, or a mechanism for spreading status effects over a wide area.
