Mission details

The secret action for this mission is to collect 4 chips. Chips will appear in the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th blocks. This can be done as follows:

• Left (Natural) Route
  • Stage 1 - When you finish killing the the spawn with the bugs in the middle of the trees, turn around and destroy the big rock behind you. Destroy the small ones to get to the 1st chip. The second chip can be found by scanning the three orange flowers and destroying them. It will appear in front of the gate to the next block in that room.
  • Stage 2 - You'll need 4 keys to get the Stage 2 chip. The first one can be found after killing everything up to the first gate and by activating (a yellow target shows up)on the broken column to the right. This spawns the first key right next to it. The 2nd key can be found by scanning the red coconut in the tree before the 2nd gate and destroying the tree (or you can just shoot the coconut if you have a ranged weapon). To get the 3rd key, kill the spawn of Vandas and then activate the other broken column just after the 2nd gate, spawning the key nearby. The last key can be obtained by destroying the other red coconut tree across from the green chip gate.
  • Stage 3 - To get the final chip for this route, you'll need to destroy all of the green, glowing mushrooms. The first one is on the path to the left when you start while the second is right across from it on the other path, right next to a big mushroom. The 3rd mushroom is under two big mushrooms on the left after killing the first kakwane spawn. The last two mushrooms are on your right and left upon entering the open area with the gated bridge. The 4th and final chip appears on the middle of the bridge right after destroying the last mushroom. Unlike the other chips, make sure you destroy the mushrooms before killing all of the enemies, otherwise you will not get the chip.
• Middle (Manmade) Route
  • Stage 1 - After walking down the second set of stairs, defeat the monsters and go up set of stairs on the right. Break the four boxes with a yellow middle to get the first chip. There is no penalty for hitting extra boxes however.
  • Stage 2 - After opening the first gate, go back up the stairs to the right of it and go towards the small wall in the corner. Hit the spot in the middle a few times and it will blow up leaving the first chip of the block behind it. After going through the gate in the hallway down the first set of stairs, defeat the enemies and take the left stairs up. Turn on the switch when you get to it and kill the enemies that spawn in this room. The second chip will appear near the exit afterward.
  • Stage 3 - After killing the first room, continue until you see the chip and some poison pots. Walk to the right taking care to avoid the poison and then grab the chip on the other side.
• Right (?) Route
  • Stage 1 - Press the button on the grey fence to the stairs at the far end of the first room on the right. The button is on the right side of the fence looking toward it from the front. After walking past the red gate, walk through the small barriers on the right to find the first first chip.
  • Stage 2 - After reaching the area with a door on each side, take the one on the right. Kill the enemies in here to get the second chip. The teleporter that appears saves you from walking time to the other side. Kill the rest of the enemies in the block and you will be able to destroy the small barrier in the last room. The 3rd chip is right on the other side.
  • Stage 3 - To get this chip, you simply have to survive long enough to get to it; this chip will appear automatically in your path at a certain point.

If you get a red glow across your screen, it means you can do an extra stage. The portal for it opens up to the right of the boss portal on the Left(Natural) path and on the left of the boss hallway for Middle(Manmade) path. You can choose which boss to enter by activating one or both of the switches near the boss gate. Your character will not do the normal "Activate Switch" motion when you activate them. Look out for which ones have the glowing orb on top, this means it is activated.

• For De Ragan: Do not activate either switch and go to the gate.
• For Adahna Degahna: Activate only the left switch, then go to the gate.
• For Mother Brain: Activate only the right switch, then go to the gate.
• For Dark Falz (second form): Activate both switches, then go to the gate.
