GUARDIANS Cash

  • GUARDIANS Cash (GC), a unique type of currency, has been introduced with this update. GC allows players tomake use of unique services via the GUARDIANS Upgrade & Repair Station, accessed via the elevators. This station contains all four of the manufacturer grinding NPCs, as well as an Upgrade & Repair console which takes GC as payment for repairing broken weapons or increasing/changing their element. GC is account bound, and each account can only hold 10,000 GC at a single time.
  • GC can be obtained currently by completing missions with an S rank clear. The payout is as follows:
    • C : 10 GC
    • B : 15 GC
    • A : 20 GC
    • S : 25 GC
    • S2 : 30 GC
    • S3 : 35 GC
  • With the introduction of GC this update, all current accounts will receive 1000 GC to use.
  • NOTE: Enhanced Element prototypes cannot use the Element change feature.

Grinding

  • With the introduction of GUARDIANS Cash, grinding is undergoing a change to its process. Weapons can now lose maximum grinds upon breaking. When a weapon breaks, if under the 5th grind, it will lose 1 current grind and 1 maximum grind. If above the 5th grind, it will lose 2 current grinds and 1 maximum grind upon breaking.
  • The weapon rarity now also plays a part in determining the success chance of a grind. Each rank uses a set of base success chances, and then the weapon rank, rarity grade, and grinder quality will affect the final % outcome of success. The full details of %s will be available on the Grinding page after some time.
  • There is a 5% chance for C and B rank weapons to complete 2 grinds at once, and a 4% chance for A and S rank weapons to complete 2 grinds at once.
  • The success chance of completing grinds has been raised across the board significantly.
  • Grinds which state "No chance of failure" can no longer fail on rare occasions.

Lobbies

  • Various new NPCs have been placed across the planets and the GUARDIANS Colony. These NPCs aim to help new players by giving them information about certain aspects of the game and the whereabouts of certain locations on each of the planets. There are 4 NPCs on the Colony, and 1 on each of the three planets.
  • A flyer NPC has been added next to the Neudaiz Flyer Base.

System

  • Japanese text in Partner Machines and shop advertisements should no longer show as ?s. Players will need to re-type their advertisements and names for the change to take effect.
  • The element floor for elemental items has been lowered from 30% to 25%.
  • Enemies can now visually block your attack if you miss.
  • Misses now deal 35% damage instead of 0.
  • New characters now start with 500 meseta.
