Item details
- Boosts the power modifier of all photon arts used with this weapon by 20%.
- Despite its name and being made from a combination of the Katanas Sange & Yasha in every game it has appeared in, the weapon model erroneously reflects the Kamui & Yasha instead. This classic SEGA error started with the first appearance of this weapon in Phantasy Star Online Episode I & II and persisted in every game it showed up in afterwards until Phantasy Star Online 2, where it was finally fixed upon release a little over 12 years later.
- The standard Sange model in Phantasy Star Universe is also incorrect, despite the proper model already being used in Phantasy Star Online Episode I & II, SEGA erroneously used a duplicate model of the Yasha instead.
- This was somewhat fixed later on when the Japanese servers ported in weapons from Phantasy Star Portable 2. The Sange Shin'uchi released as a trade-in upgrade for the Sange, which then used the correct Sange model.
- This weapon has an ultra rare chance to be obtained as a "shiny".
- The shiny version of this weapon is not a color variant, instead it uses the proper models of Sange (Shin'uchi) & Yasha rather than the default models of Kamui & Yasha, fixing a longstanding SEGA error.
