==PA Modified weapons== 

Some weapons, when used with a [[Photon Arts|Photon Art]] (i.e. not for normal attacks on striking weapons, and attacks with no Photon Art assigned on ranged weapons) provide a damage multiplier to the PA's percentage modifier. These are notated on the pages themselves and the category pages.

A weapon with a PA boost of 10% would boost the power modifier of the Photon Art used with it by 10%; so a LV40 [[Skills#Gravity Break|Gravity Break]] would have an 902% modifier on its final hit, rather than the standard 820% with a non-boosted weapon.

Of note, the Stec Weapons available from [[Desert Arms Shop]] have a negative PA modifier - they remove 20% from the power modifier of the weapon. This is deliberate and intended to assist with Photon Art levelling.

Rods have an innate pa mod of 20% and wands have an innate 10% mod.

==SE Boosted weapons==

Other weapons carry a [[Status Effect]] infliction boost. This increases the rate of applying a Status Effect to an enemy by the stated percentage, but will not allow you to apply an SE to an enemy that is immune to it.
